Google Sitemaps - Helps Google to Index Your Site
Filed in: Google — June 7th, 2005
Google release a new beta service for webmasters(bloggers) call Google Sitemaps. By submit your website sitemap (in XML format), it helps Google to crawl your pages.
Google Sitemaps is an experiment in web crawling. Using Sitemaps to inform and direct our crawlers, we hope to expand our coverage of the web and improve the time to inclusion in our index. By placing a Sitemap-formatted file on your webserver, you enable our crawlers to find out what pages are present and which have recently changed, and to crawl your site accordingly.

For WordPress bloggers, there is a Google Sitemaps plugin to automatically generate the XML sitemaps file for you.
Thought:
I submited my sitemap file, and Google has downloaded it. No changes so far, my other site still not index by Google yet. ![]()
