Thai fishermen catch, eat record-sized catfish

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Fishermen in northern Thailand have caught the biggest catfish on record — a 646-pound (293-kg) giant the size of a grizzly bear — and eaten it, the WWF and the National Geographic Society said on Wednesday.
The giant catfish, believed to be the largest freshwater fish ever found, was caught along the Mekong River, home to more species of massive fish than any river on Earth.

Look at the meat, wow, the fish is huge !! What I ate just now was like 1/100 of the fish. LoL …

the world largest fish ever recorded was in the ohio river it took 5 cranes to get it out and when they put it on a barge its head and tail was still in the water i was there in person it was huge but this was years ago it was printed in an article if you can find it see for your self.
