guess the wordpress.org is removing all ads form their website. i been visiting them few times this year and havent notice any ads.

i personally think adbrite will grow and become flavor for webmaster.

This article is highly misleading, there is no Adbrite or Yahoo or Adsense anywhere on WordPress.org that I know of. We experimented with Adbrite about a year ago, obviously there is still some vestigal listing on the Adbrite site.

Note how the page says “This site is inactive.”

It would be same as BlogAds if you don’t display AdBrite’s network ads since you are selling your ad space

Google gave me the answer “Yes”. You can display both adsense and adbrite in the same page as long as it is not network ads from adbrite, which mimic Google adsense.

As you may know, Google AdSense program policy does not permit Google ads
to be published on the same web page as other contextually-targeted ads.
More broadly, our policy does not permit Google ads to be displayed on the
same website as ads that mimic or attempt to be associated with Google
ads.

According to these program policies, AdBrite ads may be displayed on a
site that shows AdSense ads. As AdBrite enables publishers to sell ads
directly on their site, therefore, it is the publisher’s responsibility to
ensure these ads do not mimic Google ads. Please note, we do allow
affiliate or limited-text links.

For publishers participating in AdSense for search, please keep in mind
that we do not allow other search services or query-targeted ads to be
displayed on the same site as AdSense for search.

Our intent with this policy is to be as fair to our advertisers as
possible and to maintain the integrity of the AdWords and AdSense
programs.

Google says you can’t share AdSense’s space with another contextual ads program (those that show ads depending on the text in your page). So I believe it is perfectly ok =)
