YouTube - Flickr Style Free Video HostingYouTube is digital video repository that allow you to upload your video clips and share with your family and friends, for FREE.

Each video clip can be tagged by keywords and topics. Like the Flickr, YouTube also use Flash to playback the video clips. Viewers can add their comment and RSS feed is supported.

YouTube Flash video clip player

YouTube video clip test: http://www.youtube.com/?v=dUTZvdgr42U

All uploaded video clips will be resized to the default size(400px * 300px). If your video clip is low resolution, it may looks jagged. Also, YouTube adds a watermark at lower right corner of the video clip.

The video download speed is quite fast on 512Kbps Internet connection, but live playback sometimes lagged.

The video search function is fast. I will recommend YouTube if you want to kill your free time. :)

Overall, YouTube is a good solution for your video blog, and most importantly it is free! I wish YouTube add options to embed the flash video player at user’s website, instead of a link to the video player page.

Looks rather interesting. But too bad the videos can’t be played directly from your blog or it’ll be a great free host for video style podcasts. ;)

Liew, you’ve recommended a very lovely site, a site I’ve been looking for! One option is to rent a larger webspace yourself to upload all these clips, but sites like youtube will offer a better management in this clips, so I’d choose to apply an account there.

Agree with Danny. If it can played directly from the blog, that’ll be too great and I won’t mind having the word You Tube on the clip!
