fingernailJapanese researcher developed a technology to store digital data in nails.

The technology use laser light to shoot fingernails repeatly, the protein in the nail will form small fluorescence spots. They burn at 0.04 to 0.08 millimeter deep in the nail, the gap between spots is 0.003 millimeter, and successfully read the data using microscope. The researcher estimated that it could store 5 trillion data in area of 5 millimeter square.

Very Interesting, especially the datas it can store but then again as Wingz said when the nails grow, the data would be lost. Besides the technology would be preety expensive. Proteins dont come cheap and why nails ? Why not skin?
