Run out of your excuses? Mark Rosenfelder wrote an excuses generator — Excuse-O-Mat. It will randomly generate very nice excuse for you. Great huh? Shhh… Don’t let your boss know! 
Example of medical excuse:
What a week! First my intestinal parasites returned, and then, would you believe, my doctor won’t up my meds! I’m barely able to walk and I don’t know if I can ever live a normal life again. I just pray that next week I can get my nerves in order.
