Upgrade to WordPress 1.5.2
Filed in: WordPress — August 15th, 2005
Finally, WordPress released version 1.5.2. The new version fixed 10 bugs and the hotly discussed remote exploit flaw last week.
Upgrade is easy. Download WordPress, extract it, upload and replace your WordPress files. Remember not to overwrite your template files. Refer to WordPress online manual for detail upgrade instructions.
I recommend every WordPress users upgrade to 1.5.2 as soon as possible to avoid WordPress hacking attempts.

I just did mine so far so good.. The steps are just like any other upgrade. delete all files and folders except wp-config.php, wp-images and wp-content. replace with new. no need to run any files or apps.

Forgot to mention, if you are running “image browser” or any other plugin that is living in the wp-admin folder, dont forget to replace them, you may be in for a surprise if you dont.
