He is a Six Figure Blogger!
Filed in: Make Money Online, Weblog — September 2nd, 2005
Darren, the problogger, announced that he earned over USD $100,000 in past 12 months since September 2004.
As you’d expect, I’m pretty happy with that total - but what made me even happier (and made my heart skip a beat) was to look at the total for the past 12 month period and realize that this month’s total took me over the magical $100,000 since 1 September last year. In fact it took me over that mark considerably.
He also broke his earning record in August 2005 for UDS $16,000 in a month.
August is over and my monthly Adsense figures were a new record - the daily average was $511.27 with the monthly total coming in at just a stones throw from $16,000 (USD).

mc: no, “money” is not the main reason. I probably can make more money by doing other stuff. The main reason I go full time is because I enjoy blogging very much and I treasure the time with family.
stchatterbox: believe, and never give up.

liewcf… the term six-figure income refers to the income earned in a year. that’s how americans tell people how much they earn.
basically you’re already a 5-figure blogger as long as you earn minimum rm833.333333 a month from adsense (10k a year)

oops… in USD terms, if you’re earning 3 figures a month now you should already be a 4-figure blogger.
if you’re earning 4 figures a month, you’re a 5 figure blogger.

Hey, that’s really unbelievable. But, liewcf I think you are close to the 6 figure… keep on the good work.
