Opera was selling at USD 39 per license. Now it is free! For sure, Opera will gaining more browser share now. The question is that the share from IE or Firefox? Will current Firefox users switch to Opera? I will try Opera 8.50 and see if it is able to make me switched.

downloaded it yesterday, yes opera is great but i’m too used to firefox. kinda lazy to switch to opera. doesn’t seem to remember my passwords in opera i dont know why although i set it to remember in entire server option.

hisyam: there is a “magic wand” in the toolbar. Click on it and it will fill in username/password and login for you.

Opera is fast, but it takes more memory than Firefox, try to open the ‘Task Manager’ and you’ll know
Firefox is good, but if you let it open and don’t use it a while, it’ll be very slow at the startup when you restore it back, wonder why.
