Honestly, a majority of people dont like seeing ads in their RSS. Not recommendable that’s all. It’s bad enough to see so many ads on this site aye.
Just my two cents.

Liew, I’ve always forgotten to ask you this question, and if you don’t publish this entry, I think I’ll forget the question for the rest of my life.
Besides having a feed at Feedsburner, is there any other ways to know how many people exactly has subscribed to my feed? Thanks.

Good question.
From your web statistic, you can know the traffic of feed URL. For feed statistic services, I found this article “tracking rss feed subscribers“

ethan: thank you for comment. My plan is provide both ads feed(full content) and ads free feed(excerpt). Feed readers have the choices.

thanks liew, i was just trying to imitate you
, to get an account at feedsburner and activate one of my feeds http://seville.u54.oo.nu/blog/feed/rss to http://feeds.feedburner.com/saintchatterbox
Well, the thing is that I’ve already got some subscribers and have already changed my RSS feed once already, from http://seville.u54.oo.nu/blog/feed to what it is now, if I changed again, I’m afraid it might be trouble some? Liew, may I ask how you made your feed, http://www.liewcf.com/blog/feed to be redirected to your new feed? Thanks.

Decide on a feed URL. If changed, use htaccess redirect to point existing subscribers to new feed url.
I use Feedburner feed replacement plugin to do the redirection.

Liew, the Plugin’s site didn’t work at all! I’ve done some searches in Google about it, but all search results showed the link you gave me… it no longer exist.
As for the .htaccess, how can I redirect? Thanks
