Thought

Like Mark said, “…another big name forays into the weblog market in a big way.” So, who is the next? VeriSign promises to keep Weblogs.com as free ping server but it will add some advance paid services later. Pinging to Weblogs.com remains to be free.

Since pingging remains free, how about reading pings? Will VeriSign stops other blog search engines (e.g.: Google Blog Search) from reading Weblogs.com pings? Will Weblogs.com provides its content(pings) for a subscription fee?
