Are you looking for a job? There is another online job recruitment website for Malaysian — StarJobs Online.

Starjobs-Online

Other job recruitment websites

  • JobsDB — the largest Interactive Recruitment Network across Asia.
  • JobStreet — Top job search site for career minded professionals seeking employment in Asia.

My two cents

When I was a fresh graduate, l was seeking my first job via JobsDB, JobStreet, and I bought The Star newspaper. The Star newspaper is known to have the most job classifieds. If there was StarJobs Online back then, I don’t think I would have needed to buy the newspaper.

With the online readership of The Star Online, StarJobs Online will become a competitor to current job recruitment websites in Malaysia. Personally I like the clean interface of StarJobs Online, it is much better than other online job recruitment websites.

By the way, it is not cheap to advertise in StarJobs Online. It costs RM500 for one position.

    Eh, strange comments above.

Anyway, I just wanted to add another new job portal for Malaysians http://www.jobsandmore.com. Seems like it’s competing for space on taxis with Jobstreet.

I’ve checked out star jobs online for any SAP opening. Guess what, zero opening. Looks like jobstreet is still the best.

actually it conflicts with its own classifieds in newspaper and online. Only that it have a search function…

I tried finding jobs from all this website, and I doesn’t seems good because it is very competative. I would rather look at each company website and look for career section. More niche, bigger company and less competative.

I had found a new source to find jobs – MJOB. Its more convenient and use just a single msg to register and they will match the jobs for us. I got an employer call in the second day. Try it. Cons:RM0.3 per msg received. :(
