Upgrading Tmnet Streamyx Package (Part 2)
Filed in: Life Log, Malaysia, Tmnet — December 16th, 2005
This is continued update of my experience of upgrading Tmnet Streamyx package.
Day 3 (continued) : No Upgrade
I waited for the whole day, Streamyx is not upgrade yet and no phone call from Tmnet. I checked upgrade status online, there is error while processing my application.
An error has been encountered while processing your application. Please contact your nearest Kedai Telekom for more information.
Day 4: Called Tmnet Customer Service
It was afternoon, I still did not get any news from Telekom and the Streamyx connection still not upgrade yet. I called Tmnet customer service hotline: 1800 88 9515 but only to be told that I needed to walk in nearest Telekom to solve the problem. The Tmnet customer service can’t do anything about it. *sigh*
Day 5: Reprocess Application
My elder brother went to Telekom for the Streamyx upgrade matter. He was back with another piece of paper from Telekom. It is a notice of Streamyx account upgrade. My brother told me that Tmnet is reprocessing our application again. Seems like I have to wait until next week to get Streamyx connection upgrade…
The story continued at Part 3, and final..

My problem was all same as yours. 4 days after doing the application form, still 512…..,call the number…..agent say “wait lah,u can’t expect it to be processed quickly”. K….I kinda get the point. After six weeks waiting, frustrated, i go to the telekom there shouting and everybody looked at me=_=”". What the heck, i paying RM88 for 512 service!! Then a technician came out and “layan” me baik-baik…….The same day, i got the speed that i apply. But i kinda ashame cause everyone look at me ^^ ” when i shout.

Lai: it is sad case. We often need to be FIERCE and SHOUT to solve the problem with some people, they never listen to you if you talk politely.
Hopefully I don’t need to shout in Telekom.
