Going to Kuala Lumpur before Chinese New Year 2006

I will be leaving Johor to Kuala Lumpur this morning, and will be arriving at around 2pm. I will stay until Sunday (22 Jan 05).
The main purpose of this trip is to replace my spoiled Linksys WRT54G WiFi router. I will also meet up with my ex-girlfriend to accompany her for a new year spree (read: dating).
I haven’t decide whether to bring my iBook laptop along or, to leave it at home. Anyway, my friend (I will stay at his house) has a computer with Streamyx broadband Internet connection. So, I will not be virtually missing for the next few days. 
My two cents
Why does exchanging the WiFi router needs me to stay for so many days? I will be staying for a few days in Kuala Lumpur because of my ex-girlfriend. She wants me to accompany her for a few more days, so…
This will be the first time we are meeting since she broke up with her last ex-boyfriend (not me) two months ago. Are we going to patch up our relationship? I don’t know. She is a nice girl, but I am not ready. For the time being, we are good friends.

How you go , by car or bus ?
If by bus, please remember buy the ticket when reach in KL …
