		<description>this might surprised everyone here, but it's real... heck even i'm very surprise too!! what is that? here goes.. i'm streamyx 512kbps user for almost 2 years, just last friday (9/11/07) i apply for upgrade to 1mbps package via their online service and i dont expect much as i read about liew's complaint earlier, so all of sudden at monday 3.00 am (12/11/07) an unexpected yet alien activity detected on deluge (a bittorrent client)..one of my download went to 97kB/s!!! usually the max will be around 50-57 kb/s, so then i run dsl speed test and all i can say is that streamyx has upraded my speed connection... 

whether u want to believe or not, up to you, heck even i'm still in surprise with this tremendous service by streamyx... finally they want to change... kudos streamyx!

ok, now will continue with torrent activity ;)</description>

		<description>One time ago, I was on the 60hour plan. They charge you per-minute fee when you exceed that. And after a few months paying over RM100, I decided to get an upgrade for the fixed 1MB line ... 

But the bills never changed ... I still pay the extra access fees. And it's been over 3 FREAKIN' MONTHS. Now I am doing a follow-up. I went called up the Clickers. And they say, "bla... bla... bla... not with us. We franchisee only. Check with TMNet"

Then I called up the TMNet ... and the lady said, "bla ... bla ... bla ... we'll look into this. Here's your ticket #. I will call you back. [she took my number]" Still nothing. I called back, "We are sorry. The we are upgrading our system"

By now my ears are turning red. Later I went to TMpoint. And report my case. And the guy himself was very surprised with that. He looked into it. Right away called the guy in some kind of billing data centre thing. And within a week, I was upgraded. Now why can't they just do that from the start.

And because of the hell I went through, I said to the guy, make sure you give me a rebate for all this. He said, he will put it through to the billing.

Two months, still nothing. Imagine, I paid over RM100 everything for a lousy slow internet connection. I think it all accumulated to over RM500 or so. And if I have the RM88 plan, I would have only paid about RM200+. I think I only got a RM10 or so ... !!

OK, now I am mad ... where else can I 'stick' this.

Finally, I wrote to their PR and Operations SVP or something, cc to Mr. CEO via email. I was being nice and said something like, "I know you value your customers, and you'd prefer customers to come to you rather than reporting it to other channels. Therefore, I would to tell you my story ... [my problem, my ticket #] ... and I want a rebate."

Now, I get something ... this time I got a rebate over RM200. And now I am happy.

But suddenly, one fine day, I got an email from TM Net PR asking me to approve a testimonial. The testimonial said, "I was very happy that TMNet attended to my issues quickly and effeciently"

Huh .. ??!!

I replied, "No you cannot use that testimonial because that not what happened"</description>

		<description>Well.. congratulation for ur upgrade to 1Mbps.. some people get to several months to be upgraded... pity.. If we have another alternative to choose for broadband, I'm very sure Streamyx ranking will go down just in 1 year. People will stop their Streamyx for others.. I'd being a streamyx contractor before... just 2 months.. the income was not bad but apparently their (TMNet) service let me down... I got hundreds of customer and over 40% of them were not satisfied with their Streamyx speed connection. 
As technician also, I had been scolded so many times. I did everything I know to fix their connection problem, eventhough some of the customers were "blind" computer but most of them were computer knowledgable, they know their computer had no problem, yes I admit... The main problem was either the "Piza-Box", jumper setting or small bandwidth area. I'd complaint hundreds time to main office but... f*** **f... they "stabbed my back".. I'm not in their contractor list anymore..</description>

The telekom men came to check. Nodded their heads to agree that the signal is weak. They left and nothing is done. If there is any other alternative, I won't use Streamyx. 		<description>too bad....... i am a subsctiber of 1MB.... but i always get a maximum speed of 51KBps......  i e-mailed streamyx and the staff asked me to do all sort of crappy things but at the end..... still no improvement...... my cousin who subscribed for  512Kbps package are getting the same maximum speed as mine!!!  i was cheated by tmnet!!!! :(</description>
