Skype Supports Conference Call Up to 10 Users

The latest version of Skype supports conference call with up to 10 users, but you are required to use Intel’s dual-core processor to open the feature.
Intel’s Core Duo and Pentium D processors have been designated the mass conference-calling processor of choice for Skype 2.0, launched last month. The limit will remain at five callers for PCs using single-core chips and Advanced Micro Devices’ dual-core Athlon 64 chip, which some tests have shown outperforms Intel’s dual-core chip.

My two cents
Intel wants to master AMD sales using Skype? That’s a dirty marketing trick, in my opinion.
I am yet a Skype user. I think my mother will use Skype earlier than me to call her sister in Taiwan. 
By the way, Skype 2.0 supports video call now (windows version) !

we use skype to do conference at my place.. very handy when i’m at malaysia and other peoples are very far away..
