Google Does Not Allow MSN Search on BlogSpot Blogs?
Filed in: Google, Microsoft — March 21st, 2006
A BlogSpot blogger, Roberto Dohnert, claimed that Google sent him an email and asking him to remove the MSN search box on his BlogSpot blog (blog deleted, google cache here).

The MSN search box on Roberto Dohnert’s BlogSpot blog
The reason given was that the search box was “obstructing Googles services from operating efficiently and effectively”.
Anyway, the blogger has moved his blog to WordPress.com.
My two cents
Not sure if this is truth or not. The blog says no single word about the case. Personally, I prefer to trust that Google would not waste time sending emails to a blogger just because of a search box.
Wait, he still can’t have the MSN search box on WordPress.com (because cannot edit WordPress.com template) ! ![]()
