Telekom Malaysia acknowledged the USD 218 billion phone bill was a typo mistake but refuse to admit that it was their mistake.
Telekom Malaysia Bhd acknowledged that the RM800 trillion phone bill was a typo mistake. However, Telekom corporate communication general manager Mariam Bevi Batcha was reported to have said:
“It was not our mistake. It’s the debt collector’s mistake. We had given a stern warning to the agency.”

My two cents
Somehow, we seldom see giant local companies admit their mistakes.
