AdSense: TicTap is Contextual Ads

Here is the follow up of my previous post “TicTap - Amazon Contextual Ads“. I have received Google AdSense email reply.
Question: Are we allowed to display TicTap ads on the same page as Google AdSense?
AdSense: According to our program policies, the ads to which you’re referring may not be displayed on the same page as Google ads on your site. However, you are welcome to display those ads on pages of your site that do not include Google ads.
Question: Does reading HTML TITLE tag to display ads equals to “contextual ads” ?
AdSense: Yes, if the ad targeting mechanism takes into account the title of your page, it is considered to be contextually targeted.
My two cents
So, TicTap ads is against Google AdSense TOS. However, you can use TicTap ads with user defined keywords. Then, it will not be considered as contextual ads.

It’s best to use TCA with user defined keywords only. We even have a wordpress plugin if your’re interested. But it’s still under beta testing. Drop me a mail if you wish to give it a try
