Anti Spyware Software is the Most Popular Download

Download.com announced latest chart of the most popular software downloads. In the chart, we can see that anti spyware is most downloaded software. 4 out of 10 top downloads are anti spywares.
Beside anti spywares, the P2P softwares are very popular too. 3 out of 10 top downloads are various P2P softwares.
My two cents
Can we conclude that Windows users are mostly annonyed by spywares, and their main activity is downloading files(movies, softwares, etc) from P2P network?

last week I just got a nasty piece of spyware that Ad Aware and Spyware Hunder could detect and remove. However it was version 2.0 of the spyware (forgot the name already) and had rootkit technology. After sometime it somehow reinstalled itself back into the system.
It took me 4 whole days in searching forums and downloading 5 different spyware programs before killing it.
And I don’t even use P2P.

I’ts obvious, a lot of people are suffering from this problem which has to be solved ASAP before it becomes too hard to overcome!

spyware? use opensource softwares, that way anything spying on u can be detected, removed the code and recompiled.
not need to use software that got secret backdoor. Get back ur freedom and liberty.

kesian the spyware authors, they are doing it for their survival, and not at all commiting to oss. at the least u can do is let them hv some of ur behavorial info + make some market analysis on u so that they can make a living.
heck, me cruel, me use oss software, all spy element removed b4 recompiling..
