Top 3 Movies of Summer 2006

The top 3 movies in Summer 2006 are “X-Men: The Last Stand”, “The Da Vinci Code”, and “Over the Hedge”. AOL’s Moviefone has a chart for current top 5 movies.
I would like to watch “X-Men” and “Over the Hedge”. I don’t have any interest in “The Da Vinci Code”. My dad bought the “The Da Vinci Code” book but I gave up reading the book after just a few pages.

Bear no think da vinci code is for everybody. Not a simple movie.
Simple minded ppl won’t understand a thing out of this movie.

I have watched MI3, i think it was ok only. Tom Cruise looks old. I wanted to watch X-Men also.

Good choice, Over the hedge is a very funny cartoon movie. Just loved it!
As for X-Men3, just watched it last night and it’s much better than part 1 & 2 except in the end you will felt like it’s the end for X-Men movie. Watch it and you’ll know why…

da vinci code - i don’t mind watching the movie but i wouldn’t want to read the book at all. i think, like you, liew, i would have give up after a few pages too. anyway since i consider all dan brown wrote as rubbish, no point reading it too.
i would like to see x-men!

Lol these 3 movies are really a hit. Xmen3 is superb! It’s ok if you say da vinci is quite boring coz they cant squeeze the whole book in 2 hrs…but the book is Great, except the part of taking fact as fiction. Let’s wait for more great movies in June and July. I cant wait for Pirates of the Carribean to be out!

hehehe… dan brown’s book got element of the dark ages, which define the world we have today. Some people just wanted to hide those fact. Some just follow the crowd, protest w/o reason/understanding.
I was reading european dark age histories (roughly 1AD-1500AD) years ago. It align wells with the historical events in his book. But the history of the dark ages was very bad (worst than Juon, pontianak sundal malam and alike), I think i reserve those comment to a mature audience. Those who dun understand the movie, I recommend that you read up european history between 1AD-1500AD.
But Da Vinci code or the likes of The beaultiful mind, is not for everybody. It needed abit of thinking and in da vinci code -> the knowledge in european history.
OK next movie over the hedge. Bear puts up kiddie hat

didn’t know over the hedge is so good….will be heading to watch Xmen then over the hedge if it is still in the cinema
mi3 and da vinci code is okay lor the movie …a lot of suspense…like it too
