Kuala Lumpur International Motorshow 2006 (KLIMS 2006)
Filed in: Charity, Life Log, Malaysia — June 3rd, 2006
I went to Kuala Lumpur International Motorshow 2006(KLIMS ‘06) yesterday with my younger brother. It was our first time visit KLIMS and it was a very good experience. I didn’t have a camera, so no photo is taken.
My KLIMS ‘06 highlights:
- Bridgestone show girls(ambassadors) wore the most sexy suits.
- Show girls have the ability to freeze their smile faces for hours
- I got a huge Ferrari F1 poster for free.
- I spent RM20 for a “vote for your favourite brand ambassadors” pack(inside has a VCD and 200 voting points).
- I bought a RM50 ticket of “Malaysian Charity Draw”(First price is a Porsche Cayman S car).
- KLIMS ‘06 is huge! We spent 4 hours walking through all the halls.
- Camera phone is popular.
- I saw only two film based camera.
- Get a DSLR camera and show girls will give you more attention.
Ok, I know Motorshow post shouldn’t be published without photo. Here are a few KLIMS ‘06 photo galleries by Shah(marathon).
By the way, my vote goes to her, Wydia of Bridgestone. (she doesn’t look good in this pic)

Liew, get a digital cam!!
It’s so cheap nowadays. I’d recommend the Canon Powershot series.

I went to the show too.
For me, the show should called as “girl show” rather than “motor show”.
Some’s wearing really sexy and nearly to bottom line of Malaysia government’s law.
Just wonder start from when Malaysia government such open-minded, haha.
I really thought to bring my cam and shot some photos, put it on my blog (www.techblogy.com), but unfortunately i noticed my cam broke before i go. RM 1,500 gone. So sad

too much makeup for my liking, anyway she doesn’t look good on the picture is due to the flash you use.

Wydia Lee of Bridgestone was only the Runner-up. Hymm..not bad tho. My choice was correct, Juliana Banos, the pro.model of Mutiara Motors scored BIG with a convincing win and so, was subsequently crowned. Rose Chin of UMW Toyota came out 2nd Runner-up. Go look up their pics and agree with me that that was a fair outcome. And…by the way, invest in a good camera like … “Power Shot” for the next heart-pumping KLIMS.
