Finally, MSN Messenger (or Windows Live Messenger now) and Yahoo Messenger will be joined together for instant messaging.

According to CNET News, 350 million accounts of both IM networks will be joined. Although it is still a beta service, it is being launched globally in 15 localized languages. Members of the networks can sign into both MSN and Yahoo using one user ID, and see their friends from both networks.

P.S. MyMacBuzz discovered that Malaysians are not in the beta list:(

Update: A reader confirmed that Malaysians can enjoy the new IM services too!
