PayPal to Open New Regional Headquarter in Singapore
Filed in: E-commerce Solution, Make Money Online, PayPal — July 6th, 2006
PayPal is preparing to open a new regional headquarters in Singapore – PayPal Private Limited. These headquarters will be the service provider for PayPal customers outsite United States and the European Union. The new customer relationship will take effective after August 1, 2006.
With the opening of new PayPal regional headquarters, non-U.S or European Union customer relationship will be automatically be transferred to PayPal Private Limited. PayPal policy will be updated accordingly.
No actions needed by existing PayPal members.
My two cents
It may be a sign that PayPal is going to allow Malaysians to withdraw PayPal funds. By the way, there are unofficial (but legal) ways for Malaysians to withdraw PayPal funds.

[...] What the West take for grant for years, they jump for joy at the mere hope of being able to do real business without feeling like a 11 year-old drug dealer. Being able to receive Paypal money alone is a cause for celebration. [...]
