But when 2.04 was launched I decided to take the plunge and am happy to say with a little bit of research on what plugins needed to be upgraded, and following the upgrade instructions to the letter, all went well. I guess the upgrade would be inevitable in the future but the fear of losing everything is real. The upgrade wasn't much of a problem. There are a lot of features in 2.0 which I have disabled, e.g. the WYSIWYG editor. On an overall 2.0 is a lot more efficient and said to be more secure.
