Mozilla team has release Firefox 2 beta 2. There are many new features in Firefox 2 but many existing Firefox extensions do not work with it. Nightly Tester Tools is a Firefox extension that forces all installed extensions to become compatible with the new Firefox version.

Nightly Tester Tools

After installing Nightly Tester Tools, it will add a “Make all compatible” button to Firefox Add-ons window. Click the button, confirm and restart Firefox. You’re done! That simple!

My two cents

The Nightly Tester Tools work on most of my installed extensions, except for some complicated extensions like session manager. I recommend Nightly Tester Tools if you want to try Firefox beta (which I don’t recommend for general users).
