WordPress Plugin: AdSense Revenue Sharing System
Filed in: Adsense Tips, Make Money Online, WordPress Plugins — September 25th, 2006
If you have a group blog, how do you share the blog revenue(read: AdSense) with the other authors. AdSense System might be a ideal solution for you.
AdSense System is a WordPress plugin which allows you to share AdSense impression with co-authors of the blog.

How does it work?
- Your author published an article on your group blog.
- When a visitor reads the article. AdSense system randomly selects the AdSense id of the author’s and yours, based on a specified ratio (default is 50:50).
- Both of you get money.

The AdSense system options for admin. You can set up the ratio and lowest user level that are allowed to add their AdSense ID.

Your author can add their AdSense ID after logging into WordPress admin panel.

The AdSense system can shows your AdSense revenue in WordPress admin.
My two cents
AdSense System is good if you have a group blog and want to share the happiness(read: money) with your authors. I might use AdSense system if I would create a group blog later.
It is fair that the authors only get paid for the articles they wrote. The ratio setting is nice. It allows you to decide how much revenue to share. 50% or 100% to the author? Up to you.
Please note that in order to use the AdSense System, each author needs to have own Google AdSense account.

thanks for the suggestion, Stef.
LiewCF.com is a personal blog, I don’t think I will convert it to a group blog. But inviting bloggers to blog when I am not available is a good idea.

Maybe can start a blog liewCFkids.com: a childblog of liewcf and see what comes out inviting bloggers.
In your personal liewcf: You could make 1 or 2 posts in advance in your “cute and funny category”: if you are around, you keep on timespamt dating them a week later, if you are not around, those 2 posts will show up automatically. Gives you a week of “free time”

we had a few group blogs, but all failed. It is not easy to ask all blogger icons to blog for a new blog.

Why did they fail? Not enough revenue, blog authors didn’t contribute anymore?
Put Adsense % same as % of contributions, if no contribute, no money.
Of course the icons have their hands full with their own blog
And blog needs to have a topic all the authors can contribute from their own perspective.

most of the local group blogs are not for revenue. I think the main reason is every blogger busy with own work/blogs.

What I want to do on my blog, is every few hours take the oldest post and move it to the
front of the queue, all automatically. Anyone know if there is a plugin that can do this or
a simple way to set up another plugin to do this (use my own feed perhaps)?
Thanks.
