Got Paid by FeedBurner Ad Network
Filed in: Make Money Online — October 1st, 2006
Oh yes, I got paid for my site feed! I have received my FeedBurner Ad Network(FAN) payment for Jun `06. One more income source from now on.
What is FeedBurner Ad Network(FAN)?
FAN is an advertising services of FeedBurner, the world’s most popular feed hosting. Publishers who join FAN will display ads in their feeds or on-site. Publishers can choose to approve/disapprove each ad request. The ads are paid based on total impression.
How to join FAN?
As far as I know, FAN is invitation-based. I was invited when my amount of feed subscriber number exceeded one thousand. If you have enough feed subscribers, you may contact FeedBurner team to get an invitation.
So, how much did I get?
Not much, but enough to pay my web hosting fee. It is a stable monthly recurring revenue. ![]()

Liew, you don’t use AdBrite anymore? Why?
October 2nd, 2006 at 3:06 am
@A.H: mainly AdSense and TLA.
@aman: yup, monthly. I am a *private* web hosting reseller.
@Pinvader: hmm… because ppl complain too many ads?
Well, AdBrite does not make much if you want to run AdSense.

Yeah !! Even I got my payment for the month of June from Burning Door Syndication Services, Inc.
Earlier, I used to earn more on FAN… but as time passed by my revenue is decreasing even though my Traffic is increasing. Any tips from your side ?

Isn’t it officially called “Feedvertising” now? Or are you referring to something else?
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:46 am
Oops…must be sleepy. Feedvertising is by TextLinkAds…:)
October 2nd, 2006 at 11:47 am
@Thilak: tip: increase amount of feed subscribers
@gobala: no, no… Feedvertising is a Text Link Ads product. Don’t confuse with FAN of Feedburner, though both serve ads in feed.

@LcF: Most of my earnings come from onsite ads

Erm..Why you saying that AdBrite does not make much than AdSense?

What about blogads?

Well done, CF. Proud a Malaysian can get to this level. I wonder if the story in problogger.net is true that the guys is buying a house from Adsense income. Now, that’s a challenge!

@Bat: if you want to run adsense, you cannot use adbrite network ads on the same page. Thus, you only make money if someone buy your adbrite ads. This reduce the revenue of adbrite you can get, comparing to adbrite network ads.
well, i never bold enough to replace adsense by adbrite. I can’t tell which one make more money. btw, we never heard ppl getting million from adbrite, right?
@Kitkat: Yes, BlogAds made more money than FAN.
@Ady: Ya, Darren of Problogger.net bought a house using his online revenue. Please note that he does not rely solely on AdSense income. He has other BIG income sources too such as affiliate programs.
Oh ya, I am looking for a house.
