StumbleUpon Do Not Credit My Work!

Filed in: Site News, Web — October 17th, 2006

My StumbleUpon PageRecently, I published a tutorial about integrating StumbleUpon link icon to WordPress blog.

I send the page to StumbleUpon(SU) and they use the content as official instruction at “StumbleUpon integration code for WordPress“.

But, SU do not credit me on the page, which they did it on “Instruction for Blogger“.

I have contact StumbleUpon and request for a credit on the page but I haven’t receive any reply after a few days.

I am upset. :(
By the way, here is my StumbleUpon page. Add me as your SU friend!

Update: SU has add a link to me on the WordPress integration page.

I wonder why go all the trouble hacking your template, when you can easily do it using filter hooks (the beauty of WP). BTW, there’s already few plugin.

Sue them! Just kidding! But it’s really painful when you come up with something useful for them and in the end, they did not even credit your work.

I notice some sites implement that already. Good work from you by the way!

I guess it is because there’s quite a number of members sending in tutorials, so they decide not to credit anyone.

Proud to see you being copied by SU. No, I hate plagarism very much. But don’t know why feel proud when a big name in the web like SU copied your work.

@Vincent Chow: have you notice that the SU page copies my post word-by-word? And, SU haven’t reply my message.
@Cupid9: I don’t feel the respect. I like SU but quite disappointed about this.
