Beads for Bean Bag

This is not technology related. I need your help.
I got a big bean bag but does not get the beads, Virgin Polystyrene Foam(little white foam balls), to fill it.
The bean bag size is 4.5 feet x 5.5 feet, and need to fill in 12 cubic feet(ft3) of beads (around 5 KG). Do you have similar bean bag? Where did you get the beads?

i think you can get it in Aussino or Ikea, but you have to come down to KL. Do courts mammoth have those things?

I think the hypermarket like Carrefour also have it. Someone bought from Carrefour in KL before.

ya, it is easier to get in KL but I am in Johor…

You should be able to get it @ Ikea or any big furniture/couch related stores.

its even in jusco, i saw it. but its not easy to carry, coz its big. altho its not heavy

Big hypermarket will have it. I saw it once at Giant.

i think..for a bag of pillow size beans cost abt rm14 or so, something like that

Can you help me? I have a cover, and need a refill to plump up my chair. I actually managed to contact a manufacturer in KL but they only sell on a cash and carry basis. They cannot ship to other states in Malaysia.

i heard that an art shop in JB Plaza Pelangi sells this, 2.5kg for RM65.
By the way, what is the manufacturer contact details that Alex has found? I am looking for this as well but i am in kl.

Bean bag beans definitely available at Jusco. I found them at Jusco Bangsar, they were about RM 6 for a bag containing two regular pillow-sized bags of beans. I bought about 6 of these bags (RM 36), and I’ve only half-filled the big-ass bean bag I had bought already (though maybe not quite as big as the pic above).
Apparently my bean bag is supposed to take about 600 litres or 5 kg of beans, and I reckon I need to go back and get 4 more bags. So that means I will have spent about RM 60 on beans for a (big) bean bag.

Oh, PS - I emailed Ikea, Aussino, Tesco and maybe also Carrfour - and they all said they didn’t have them.
