This is my first check of Amazon.com Associates Program.

Amazon Associates Check
Amazon Associates Check

I join Amazon.com Associates Program since 2005. This is my first payment check received. This is not considered successful if compared with my other money-making programs. The link type that works best is text link.

Does Amazon.com Associates Program work for you? Share your tips, please?

P.S. I changed the payment method to Amazon.com Gift Certificate

Amazon was my first affiliate program. I tried it for few days then abandon it. BTW I am getting regular cheques through CJ, shareasale, clickbank and some other networks.

I uses Amazon affiliate program too. For 1 years+, I only managed to earn $4.50. The return is really poor.

In my opinion..why Amazon didn’t work very well because not so many of Malaysian people buy things from Amazon. I believe most of visitors here are Malaysian :D so…

Congrats on the check I got one that was nice but only one so far as they only pay quarterly so it’s a bit of a lag between the sale and the payment.

I have been using Adsense all the time, never want to try amazon because it plan is simply won’t work. You earn first time referral fee only and the next time, consumer will go directly to http://www.amazon.com. I prefer more on “pay per click” plan.

amazon’s a waste of space for its speed of conversion.

Congrats LCF for your first Amazon cheque. I haven’t been doing well either with Amazon Affiliate programme but there has been some sales. I only started to promote the links aggressively early this year so I guess I will only see that cheque next year :D

Congrats for getting that elusive check from Amazon. Looks like it takes a long while before anyone can get some money from Amazon. My site is almost six months old. The Amazon ads on my site get a lot of clicks but nobody is buying anything. Good for you!

I used to make a few hundred US every month for about 3 or 4 years from Amazon but now I’ve stopped promoting it actively because of several reasons and one of which, I am tired of playing the SEO game to get good ranking just to get a tiny commission.

I agree that you wont make much just by promoting Amazon program in your blog.
