Blogger RSS Import – Import New Blogger to WordPress

I did a Blogger to WordPress migration for a client using Romantika’s Blogger RSS Import, a WordPress plugin to import blog posts and comments from a New Blogger account. Oh, install WordPress Suicide as well. It is useful when the import failed, but use it with caution! ;)

Note: WordPress default Blogger Import does NOT work with New Blogger account.

    I’m glad it worked for you. Mind you Blogger limits the number of posts to 500 :-)

    The plugin no longer works. When querying the feed for the total number of posts, Blogger returns “Too many instances of start-index”

    However, there is a workaround.

    The method described in this post takes less than 5 mins depending on the size of your blog and does not require any plugins.
