Wow! I Ranked Better than Google!?

My recent post, “Download Google Chinese PinYin Input Method” ranked better than Google official page for the product in Google search result for “google pinyin“

All first four results are blogs. Why are the blogs ranked better than Google PinYin official page? What do you think?

If we knew the answer … then our rankings would be #1 for everything we want.

could it be that because the official website has no Google “pinyin” word in it? the url has the “pinyin” word, ranking wise it should be the offical website but since the content has no “pinyin” word, i believe it might has some effect on the ranking… possibly…

Obviously you are searching for English phrase in an English (non-Chinese) interface!!
Try to change the Preferences and put the Chinese language and then search for it and see the result!

It’s because ‘Google PinYin” is not the official term

conguralation in canada is in 4th result

Because the google site is completely in Chinese and we poor souls who are just learning Chinese and need the input method can’t read google’s page. If you can translate their page, you’d get even more hits.
