Hello, Honey

May 31st, 2007 | Category: Life Log | 11 Comments

It has been a long time since the last time I received a call from girl for a chat. You know, I am not a talkative guy but a good listener. Girls do not find me for a chat (except online chat).

Just now, I received a call from Singapore by a girl, a secondary school friend. Surprised! Although we often SMS each other but we do not make calls, mainly because of the double call charges. I don’t mind to pay but I do not want her having to pay to receive my calls.

She was calling me after work in MRT. Very noisy background, but it didn’t interrupt us. She chatted with me from MRT until she reached home. Around 30 minutes. We didn’t chat much, mainly talked about her new job next week. She is a beautician.

Perhaps it was just a normal call of her, but it had brightened my day. OK, I am naive. :)

P.S. Thanks for your caring. My back is feeling better now. :)

Slacking after vacation

May 30th, 2007 | Category: Life Log | 18 Comments

I have been slacking for a few days since I came back from Langkawi. Bad me…

Planning to start normal schedule this noon, but I hurt my back when I was moving the 24-inch LCD monitor back to my desk (my younger brother was using it).

Remember my laser printer? It is not working again. This time it’s paper jammed LED flashing even there is no paper in the printer. Sigh…

I have a few of web projects starting in June. Should be a busy month. By the way, May 2007 is my biggest AdSense earning month ever. Congrats! :D

The 4M package is for home users only, not available for business users. Surprise! Streamyx Basic 4.0M is a package with 4.0Mbps download speed and 512Kbps upload speed. Monthly fee is RM268 (with modem), Streamyx 2.0 package is RM188/month.

Do we feel excited? Not really. Based on the past TMNet experiences, we doubt the service quality. We are afraid to get 1.0M speed by paying 4.0M. As my brother said, “I don’t care. Just give me the stable connectivity.
