M-Money by Maxis and Maybank

Filed in: Malaysia, Technology — May 10th, 2007

advertisement

Maybank and Maxis launched a new mobile service named M-Money. M-Money allows you to send money and pay bills by using your mobile phone. A handy way to spend money? :P

Current services offered are:

  • electronic cash transfer to other Maxis users
  • purchase downloads from myzone (mobile content)
  • pay Maxis bill
  • Top up Maxis prepaid
  • Purchase products and services

The available services are still very limited. In fact, it is an extension of Maybank’s m2u mobile services that was only available for Celcom users.

My two cents

I am using a Maix post-paid sup-line. I required receipts for every bill I paid. I do not download any mobile content. Purchase Products & Services? Not available yet. Basically, M-Money is useless for me.

Do you use any mobile banking services?
