WordPress 2.2.1 is a Required Upgrade

WordPress 2.2.1 has been released to patch bugs in version 2.2 and fixes some security issues. It is a required upgrade for WordPress blogs.
Some highlighted bugs among the full list of bugs fixed:
- ATOM feed validation fixes
- XML-RPC fixes
- Widget backward compatibility fixes
- Widget layout fixes for Internet Explorer 7
- Page and Text Widget improvements
Here are the security vulnerabilities addressed:
- Remote shell injection in PHPMailer
- Remote SQL injection in XML-RPC
- Unescaped attribute in default theme
Using WordPress 2.2 and do not want to do a full upgrade? You can replace only the changed files since version 2.2. Download the latest WordPress.

Always stay tuned with wordpress latest news or any other platform that we are using, especially when it turns into a upgraded version to get rid of hacker. I was shocked that Hongkiat.com just been hacked after his delayed-playing.
