The Wedding of Probloggers
Filed in: Interesting, Weblog — October 25th, 2007
While I am still looking for a girlfriend, my problogger friend, Colbert Low, will be having his wedding on December 2007. Congrats, Colbert!
The couple is probloggers, they setup ProbloggerWedding.com to update about their wedding and looking for sponsorships. Interesting!
Not sure a live video broadcast of the wedding is available or not. Or, do a live twitter updates like the twitter baby?
My two cents
My friend once suggested to do live video broadcast of my future wedding. Guests are invited online and give red envelopes (ang pao) by PayPal. Good idea, right?
Will you announce your wedding on your blog?

LCF. Yes, we plan to have a video broadcast once we get an affordable videographer. Can you recommend anybody? Thanks for the support

It appears to me there are quite a number of probloggers in Malaysia. Why hasn’t anyone set up something b5media? A collaboration of various Malaysian Bloggers with quality post.

Thanks LCF! We did talk about doing a video broadcast on the blow yesterday.
And Calvin, set up something like b5media or Creative-Weblogging also another topic we discuss with May Ong.
Guess, that is the different between “follower” and “leader”

Yeah,
Giving red envelopes (ang pao) in PayPal fund is another good idea, hehe… I will consider that.
Calvin: I believe they are some parties are quite keen in this idea and I am sure the discussion is going on just that nothing is work out yet for the time being.

Congrats, but it is too commercial for me to have wedding like that. Anyway different people have different thoughts.
Liew: I think it is very true that you may find partner in his wedding, provided that the table is specially arranged…hehe. The urgency of getting married and feeling old is there with some additional alcohol to give everyone a slight confidence boost.
Cheers!

Great idea to find sponsor for wedding. If they are having the dinner at Penang, I can perform a few songs and provide my keyboard for the dinner entertainment.

not everyone likes to reveal all the details of their wedding.
October 26th, 2007 at 10:28 am
wow, congrats Colber & Michelle. Looks like this will be a trend… there ought to be a matrimonial site for bloggers, hehe…. (so LcF can get hitched soon enough…)
— someone must have of thought of this…
Now imagine the couple being busy with each other’s laptop on the bed instead of with each other… hmm… (just kidding).

Seriously, what’s the BIG deal about having a girlfriend or not? It’s fun having a girlfriend but it’s also fun being single.
October 27th, 2007 at 2:57 am
It’s like that la. Those who don’t have wish they have, those who have wish they don’t have.
October 27th, 2007 at 3:52 am
Just curious… So far, are you received some messages from girls interested to become your girlfriend?

ARG!!! There are already people ahead of me getting married this way!
Too late… *LOL* What to do? I’m still so much single, if not I’ll be ahead of them having this kind of wedding. I guess I just have to scrap this idea already. No longer a fresh idea after people had done it. Anyway, congrates to Colbert & Michelle.

Thanks! I did few this is a bit “commercial”, but Colbert wants to have it. What to do? Not easy to maintain a relationship. Guess we need to “complete” each other. Another 1 month 16 days….WISH ME LUCK!
