All Malaysian Bloggers Project: Bloggers Gathering

All Malaysian Bloggers Project (AMBP) will have their 1st gathering for fellow bloggers in January 2008.
Date: 12 January 2008 (Saturday)
Time: 10.00am onwards
Venue: Starbucks The Gardens, Mid Valley (google map)
All Malaysian bloggers are invited, no registration required. The first 50 bloggers will get a free drink (coffee or tea). Refer to the following picture of Starbucks at The Gardens, I doubt there is enough space for the group.

There is no event agenda, according to AMBP, “It’ll be a meet-and-mingle sort of get-together, so expect an informal setting”.
My two cents
Instead of rush announcement, I like the early event notification of AMBP. I might be attending the gathering, not confirmed yet.
I am afraid it will be rather “dry” because there is no program during the gathering. It would be nice to have some blogging related discussions there.
Since no registration required, you can drop by to have a free drink

@P LOWYAT: ya, I don’t think the Starbucks can fix more than 50 people at one time. I don’t think so many bloggers will attending at the same time, anyway.

Can anyone record the movie and share with bloggers from other state? I am from Penang and i can’t join this event, but i hope can learn something from Malaysia’s Pro-bloggers….. I very appreciate if anyone would like to share the viceo…..

I don’t think there will be so many bloggers going at the same time since it’s 10am onwards, no fixed time and very casual. So some might come earlier some might come later. Hehehe… Well… Just happen that I will be in KL that time ;P I won’t purposely fly there to attend hahaha…

Hey guys, as mentioned on the site, it’s a meet-and-mingle session. In other words, this gathering is for networking purposes.
With regards to talks and stuff, well, the problem with that is it automatically limits the type of bloggers who’d be interested and therefore would attend.
So for now, while we do not yet discount the possibility of having some kind of agenda at the gathering, we’re keeping this simple and fun.

Yes, there will be a counter there on the day, manned by a couple of folks from Star Online.
