Now You Can Search in Audio with Google Audio Indexing
Filed in: Google — September 17th, 2008
Google Audio Indexing (GAudi) is the new member of Google Labs. The project allows users to search what people are saying inside YouTube videos.
GAudi uses speech technology to find spoken words inside videos and lets the user jump to the right portion of the video where these words are spoken.

How to search audio in video?
Goto Google Audio Indexing, simply type a query in the search box and press the “Search videos” button. The results of your search will appear in the left column. Clicking the result will display the video on right column.
Currently. Google Audio Indexing only return results from (USA?) politicians videos. Google will do audio index on every YouTube videos and make them “speech-searchable”.
