The new Google blog search looks very much like Google News. The related blog posts are clustered, and a blog count and thumbnail are displayed on the left hand side.

google blog search chartClicking the blog count will dig further to the story and a chart on the right is showing the “hotness” of the story based on the number of blogs covering the story in the past 16 hours.

On the left most sides, the blog posts are categorized in different topics: Politics, US, World, Business, Technology, Video Games, Science, Entertainment, Movies, Television and Sports.

However, unlike Google blog search results, no feed is available for each blog topic. You can’t get the latest updates via feed or email.

For some tech geeks, the new Google blog search front page may look like a killer to Techmeme but Matt of Google showed the different.
