ClocX – Desktop Clock with Alarms

Filed in: Downloads, Reviews — September 13th, 2004

Besides a desktop calender(Rainlender), I still want a alarm clock to remind me, uh, bed time. Without much effort, I found my choice — ClocX from Snapfiles. Here is the review on ClocX:

ClocX is a truly beautiful analog clock enhancement for your desktop. You can choose from a wide variety of styles, all of them high quality and very attractive. You can also use it to run one-time or recurring alarms, that can play a sound file, launch a message box or run an application of your choice. In addition, the program offers features like antialiasing, transparency, click through, calendar display, customizable priority and more. If you never thought, you’d need a desktop clock, ClocX may change your mind!

Thought:
It is so beautiful! If you standard installer only, I recommend you download png_fz.zip imgae pack also. Inside has some cool clock backgrounds.

Urm… I still wish to have countdown feature…

Yes ClockX is the best analog clock I know of too- been using it for months. Uses little resources.
Have Rainlender too, seldom use. Didn’t try animate wallpaper.
