Download.com Free and Legal Music

Popular software download site – Download.com has launched a new music download service at http://music.download.com/. All the MP3 downloads are LEGAL and FREE to download. If you write own song, you may submit it too!

Thought:
Tho you will not find any big stars’ songs there, but sometimes listen to free artist’s song is not a bad choice too. :)

    Although it’s not free, it’s extremely cheap. A song at 320Kbps encoding will cost about US$0.08

    They claim that their MP3s are legal. Quoted from their site:

    All the materials in the MediaServices projects are available for distribution through Internet according to license # LS-3М-03-79 of the Russian Multimedia and Internet Society. Under the license terms, MediaServices pays license fees for all the materials subject to the Law of the Russian Federation “On Copyright and Related Rights”.     I’ve tried it out and the quality is excellent. Download speed is also good… 40+ KB/sec
