First Ebay Item Order

Filed in: Life Log — September 30th, 2005

I just made a payment for my first eBay item few minutes ago. I bought a 1GB memory module for my Apple iBook. The price is USD 165 (RM622) included the shipping fee. Current local market price for 512MB is around RM580, therefore, I think it is a good buy.

Paying for eBay item is easy. You get an notification email when you won/purchased an item. Simply click the “Pay now” button to make the payment. The shipping fee is automatic calculated (eBay checks your shipping address?). Login PayPal, and pay. A receipt email will send to you. Then, wait for the item to be shipped (that’s the hardest part!).

Thought

As you know, I have some money in PayPal account (mostly earned from advertising programs) but cannot withdraw from Malaysia local bank. So, eBay is a good place to spend the money. My current eBay wish list is Mac OS X : The Missing Manual, Tiger Ed (Missing Manual) (lost the bid once) and a notebook stand (bidding now).

I afraid soon I will addicted to eBay. :P
