First Income from Amazon Associates Program
Filed in: Make Money Online — June 17th, 2005Happen to check my Amazon Associates account just now and surprised to found that I earn money from it! To be exact, it is USD$1.54. Hahaha…
I had put Amazon banners for quite a time but it did not generate any profit, though there were few hundred clicks. Later I took down the banners to save some space. I did add few products link in gadget posts, no response too.
While I almost give up Amazon.com… the $1.54 encouraged me. 
It is little money earned from Amazon referral fee(5%) for the sales of two books. Two books that are totally unrelated to my blog content!

Weird huh? That’s what we call “refer”, as long as you lead the person goto Amazon. You get commission when he/she purchase something there, even it is not the original product that you linked to.
Thought:
Like Google Adsense, the starting revenue is not much(in fact, very little). But it is a good start, hopefully I can make the same or better profit than Google Adsense from Amazon.com.
