FreeCache — Making Universal Access Faster

Has big size files want to make it available to download but wish to save bandwidth? Perhaps FreeCache.org can help you. :)

FreeCache is a system of:

  • cooperating caches to move
  • large files of
  • free content
  • closer to users.

    • How to use it?
    Just add http://freecache.org/ in front the URL of your share file.

    Example:

    http://freecache.org/http://www.liewcf.com/myvideo.avi

    That simple! And, it is free service. :cool:

    What benefits?

  • User can enjoy faster download from nearby server with the cache
  • Webmaster can save bandwidth because the file is distributed to user from other servers.

    • Thought:
    Since I don’t have big size file to share with you all, I have no idea how efficient it is. And it depends on how many ISP support the FreeCache. If no support from ISP, then users still download the file from your server…
