Chrome computer is not available for sales but Google will distribute it via Chrome OS Pilot Program, which is open to individuals, businesses, schools, non-profits and developers based in the United States.

Yes, U.S.A only. I was too excited to apply for the Pilot program and didn’t notice the small note. :(

If you would like to buy Chrome notebook, the retail Chrome OS models from Acer and Samsung will be available in the middle of 2011.

    I was disappointed as well with the pilot program. Too bad we gotta wait till mid of 2011 to try out one.

    For such technical specification, the computer really seemed heavy. Maybe it was the batteries. 8 hours of life mind you.

      8 hours is great, but it seems to be around the standard for a 9 cell battery.

    After registering on this site yesterday, I received a phone call today saying I was to receive a $100 Walmart gift card or something to that effect.
     To get it I should press 1. I did and soon got a dial tone. I called the number that called me and got “Goodbye”
     After me taking all my registering time I get this!!
