2 Simple Ways to Help Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Victims

Filed in: Charity and Donations — March 15th, 2011

Help japan

YOU can help the victims of 2011 Japan Earthquake and Tsunami in two simple ways.

1. Make a donation.

The simplest and most direct way to help. Make sure you are making donation to reputable organizations. I recommend American Red Cross or Japanese Red Cross Society.

My friend, James @ FriedBeef.com is matching your donation up to USD500. Remember to email proof of donation to him!

2. Spread the word

Got a website/blog? Simply add a Hello Bar (a simple notification bar on the top of your website) to drive awareness for the Japan earthquake and promote donations.

Here is the JavaScript code you can simply copy & paste into your website to add the notification bar.

More information on applying the hellobar at Mashable.

Please share the donation pages and this article on Facebook and Twitter.

I have room for a japanese family at my house in australia. I will pick you up from the airport and offer my support while you try and recover from the horror that has happened to you and your country. Ruth

Ah, and I thought there is no other way to donate directly to the Japanese Red Cross Society other banking into their Japan bank account (the only option on their website).

I will share my new 5,000 square foot home in South Florida on a nature preserve with a family and/or children. I will help fund a round trip flight to the United States and share our large home and take care of any Japanese citizens that need help. I will also take care of any children – or all of the children from a single family – including putting them in a extremely good school, enrolling them in extracurricular activities, and taking care of them as I would my own children who are ages 4, 6, and 10. We have excellent personal references. God bless and I can be reached at [email protected] for email.
