Ecto-Registered

The Chinese says, “工欲善其事，必先利其器 (a good tool is required to do a good job)”. In order to ease my blogging work, I spent USD $17.95 (RM68) on a desktop blogging client — ecto.

My two cents

Ecto is a small investment for my blogging job. I am not using WordPress web based editor anymore. I used to think that WordPress editor is the best, even after I tried some other windows blogging clients. However, ecto is… great. Highly recommended to blogger who manage many weblogs.

P/S: Problogger Darren use ecto too.

    I still use WordPress but I do not write post using the web based editor.

    May I know how do you import Chinese Character into blog?

    I saw somewhere Chinese language based WordPress blogs, do you know what is the easiest way to create WP blogs in Chinese language?

    Bill: Simply type the Chinese characters in your blog. WordPress will display them without problem.

    mr.eims: I haven’t try Qumana. I am blogging on Mac.

    Qumana is for windows. I don’t see Qumana support trackback/pingback. Qumana lacks of plain text editing (which I prefer). For Windows user, I recommend w.bloggar.

    Yes, Ecto is better. :)

    w.bloggar support for chinese character is not good, besides it is not so stable, so I use Zoundry.

    have you ever try BlogDesk (this is freeware) or BlogJet (you need to pay for this)? what do you think with these desktop blogging clients?
