Laser pico projector

How often do you wish to have a portable projector in your pocket which can connect to your iPhone, iPad to do presentations, showing photos & videos at everywhere?

I-Connect View X Laser Pico Projector is the portable projector that matches the requirements. Unlike the micro projector I reviewed last time, View X use laser light sources to enable big screen experience and, wow, no focus adjustment required.

Read on for LiewCF’s review of I-connect View X laser Pico projector.

I tried the laser projector with my iPhone 3GS. It took about 12 seconds to switch on and automatically detected my iPhone photo and video content for slideshows. It doesn’t mirror your iPhone display like the Apple Digital AV Adapter.

Due to the weak brightness, i-Connect View X laser pico projector is not suitable to be used in a bright room. I almost couldn’t see the projected image on the wall in my home office in the daytime. You need a dark room for the portable projector.

According to the user manual, you can get projected image size up to 70 to 100-inch in a complete darkness room.

When it works, I love the “no focus adjustment” feature. You simply move the distance in between the portable projector and projection surface to adjust the image size. That’s idiot proof!

Due to the fact that there is no stand for the portable projector, it has to be handheld. Thus, any small hand shaking will cause shaky projected image. You might need to find some thick books or boxes to stack up the projector when doing presentation.

Besides using it for presentations, I think I-connect View X laser pico projector is a great gadget to bring along for holiday. At the end of each day of your holiday, use the portable projector to showcase photos and videos you taken on the wall or roof of hotel room. How cool is that!
