Dear Malaysians, if you want to know how to work and earn from home, remember to get a copy of “Personal Money” (November 2005), which features “Making Money on the Net”. Most importantly, I have been interviewed by the magazine editor! ![]()

It is on Page 37. I talked about my story as a full-time blogger and shared some common and most practical tips.
The Personal Money Effect
Ever since the magazine was published, I started to receive some enquiries regarding making money on the Internet. The most common message was:
Hi, I am [NAME]. I wish to make money online because [SOME REASONS] . Could you tell me how to get started?
Normally, I would tell them to first TRY blogging as a part time job and leaded them to my collection of Adsense tips.
Making money on the Internet takes TIME (my adsense earning graph). I am not sure how many of them can wait until they receive their first cheque. There was a guy who asked for my assistant; I helped him but he gave up after trying for a few days. *shrug*
My two cents
When I showed the magazine to my mother, she said: “My son is not bad looking in the magazine. Quite handsome! Maybe some girls would like to meet you after reading this!”
It was my first time to have a full body size photo published in the press. Not bad huh?
The photo was taken by my younger brother using my elder brother’s low-end digital camera. The graphic designer made me stand on an Apple keyboard. I like the idea!
It was my milestone onto becoming a celebrity. Just kidding.
I prefer to be a nobody who runs around town in shorts and slippers. Then, people would not know this crazy guy is earning money from the Internet. However, I don’t mind sharing what I know with you, as long as you are willing to learn.
My brother said, “Now you can start classes and earn bigger money from tuition fees”. I don’t quite agree with his idea. Firstly, I am not qualified yet. Secondly, I do not talk (well). Also, I don’t like the idea of “making money by telling people how to make money”. You don’t make big money after spending thousands bucks on a class about “How to make money online”. You still have to work very hard on it.
Please feel free to contact me if you are a girl about your plan of “making money on the Net”.
